Oscar Red Carpet Predictions: Marion Cottilard

Academy Award winning singer actress Marion Cottilard is sure to walk the red carpet at the Oscars on Sunday, because her song "Take It All" from NINE is nominated.

I want Marion to wear this Spring 2010 Christian Dior Couture gown. Marion is the face of Lady Dior the classic Dior handbags and she should wear Dior's designs on the red carpet and I think that this dress has the drama needed for the Oscars.

And if Marion is to preform her song I have this Jean Paul Gaultier Pre-Fall 2010 dress for her to wear. This dress is sexy and sultry but sophisticated and would be perfect to encompass the feeling of the song and of the character that Marion plays.

Red Carpet Predictions: Diane Kruger & Jullianne Moore

Julianne Moore is probably going to be attending the Oscars. She has been wearing a lot of Lanvin and Balenciaga, so I choose this Armani Prive Spring 2010 collection. The white color would look amazing on her with her pale skin and red hair. She would no doubt pair the gown with some amazing jewels from Bulgari, seeing she is the face of the company right now.

Diane Kruger has an eclectic style and I never know what she is going to on the red carpet but I have chosen this Fall 2009 Atelier Versace gown for her because it is different and not the normal piece to see on the red carpet and she is one of the few people who could.

Oscar Red Carpet Predictions: Zoe Saldana

Avatar actress Zoe Saldana has become a red carpet icon since her debut at the Star Trek premere wearing Prabal Gurung. Zoe will do doubt walk the red carpet at the Oscars to promote Avatar, and I wanna see some major drama from her since she let me down at the Golden Globes.

Zoe should wear this amazing Christian Siriano Fall 2010 gown, it has lots of drama and Zoe could pull off not only all the ruffles but the striking hot pink color.

Oscar Red Carpet Predictions: Kate Husdson

Kate Hudson will probably walk the Oscars red carpet to promote her film NINE. This red carpet season Kate has worn a lot of white, Marchesa to the Golden Globes and Emilio Pucci to the SAG's, so I wanted to pick something for Kate that has color but still sticks to her BOHO style.

That is why I have choosen this Catherine Malandrino Fall 2010 gown. It has color and elegance but is still very BOHO.

Anika will probably be attending the ceremony seeing her new Disney film "The Princess and the Frog," has two songs nominated for the Best Original Song category. She will probably preform her song for the show but it has not yet been confirmed.

I want to see Anika wear this Editions by Geroge Charkra Fall 2010 gown on the red carpet. The color would look amazing on her and it is a dress that is appropriate for an awards attendee.

Tribute to Alexander McQueen

Today on the start of the fall fashion show season the industry mourns the loss of Avant Garde designer Lee "Alexander" McQueen. The Cut blog from New York Magazine reported at 10:11 on Thursday Febuary 11th that he had commited suicide with in the hour it was confirmed. The man that will no doubt go down in the hall of fame of fashion was an idol to myself and is one of the major reasons that I have decided to enter the fashion industry. One of my goals was to work with him one day on a photo editorial for like his 40th launch anivershiry, but that dream will no longer be able to be realized. The tributes to McQueen have already started Donatella Versace said "The fashion world has not only lost an icon but we have also lost a very special friend" and "Alexander McQueen was unique. His imagination had no limits, he had an amazing personality and his creativity was genius," I am in total agreement with Donatella and Red Carpet Fashion Awards blogger Catherine Kallon tweeted on her way to the airport bound for New York Fashion Week "OMG...on the way to the airport and just heard news about Alexander McQueen..PLEASE don't let it be true." When I first read this I was like what kind of sick joke is this, but after reading the same information from Vogue, The Daily Mail, and The Associated Press I finally realized that this is not a joke but it is true. This man was such an inspiration to me that after reading everything that I did all I could do was sit down and cry. I know it may seem weird but that is how much this man touched my life and I am really truly deeply sadend by his death.
