2010 Oscars: LoveIt or HateIt

Amanda Seyfried from Mama Mia and Jenifers Body presented at the Oscars she looked stunning wearing an Armani Prive Spring 2010 ball gown.
Best Supporting Actress nominee Anna Kendrick looked sexy without showing to much in Elie Saab Spring 2010 Couture.
Shreks Cameron Diaz gave us old Hollywood glamour wearing Fall 2010 Oscar de la Renta, and looked amazing. Rachel Zoe made an amazing choice in this gown and Cameron rocked it.
All I want to know is why her stylist paired that custom Prada gown with those Fred Leighton earrings. Both are equally stunning but the earrings for this look should have been short drop cushion cut not these, they were just to overpowering.
Okay Carey Mulligan was nomiated for her role in "An Education" and all I want t
Charlize Theron walked the red carpet in a modified Christian Dior Spring 2010 Couture gown, but it look like John Galliano is grabing her breasts with rose embellished gloves.
Demi Moore gave an amazing red carpet look wearing Atelier Versace Spring 2008. The original runway gown was a shocking orange and was in Rachel Zoes studio 2 years ago in the orange. I like that Demi wore this nude version with matching shoes also by Versace. She topped the look off with Van Cleef & Arpels diamonds and a Salvatore Ferregamo clutch.
Diane Kruger wore my favorite gown from the Fall 2009 Chanel Haute Couture line. This dress is breath taking and I just see someonw wearing this a a wedding gown. But Diane rocks this look.
Elizabeth Banks also wore Atelier Versace to the Oscars. Her gown was from the Spring 2009 collection. All I wish was that she did not wear the headband with the dress and instead wore amazing drop earrings.
Marchesa custom made this dress for Best Actress nommine Gabourey Sibede. The best thing about her was the qoute she gave E! which was "If fashion was porn then this would be the money shot."
For an old lady Helen Mirren still has it. Here Helen is wearing a custom Badgley Mishka gown. You go Helen.
Unfortunately Jennifer Lopez was my worst dressed at the Oscars. When I first saw this Armani Prive Spring 2010 gown I had put it on reserve for Anne Hathaway. Jennifer has to many curves for this gown and does not know how to work it.
I HATED this look Julianne Moore looks like she got out of bed grabbed the curtains and went to the Oscars. Her gown was even custom made for her by Calvin Klein.
Kate Winslet wore Yves St Laurent AGAIN to the Oscars. This look is BORING.
Kristen Stewart looked like she was going to have a good time at the Oscars wearing her custom Monique Lhullier gown. But once she got inside she became the same old grr Kristen.
This Dries Van Noten gown was made for Maggie Gyllenhaal. Maggie has such an eclectic stlye and even though she did not wear the Yves St Laurent gown I choose for her, she still looked amazing.
Mariah Carey wore Valentino, who put a bodysuit in the dress to keep from exposing anything more than is meant to be shown, but MC put it away.
Marishka Hargitay looked very elegant in Vera Wang as she attended the Oscars
Meryl Streep called Project Runway alumni Chris March to make her gown. I was so happy that Meryl wore something other than black to the Oscars.
Michelle Pfeiffer wore Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall 2010 to help announce the Best Actor award. She look very elegant.
Miley Cyrus wore Jenny Packham to the Oscars, The whole look was amazing but Miley posture just did not carry this dress the way it needed to be
Best Actress winner Mo'Nique wore a blue Tadashi gown with a gardenia in her hair to honor the great Hattie McDaniel, who broke the color barrier in the Academy back in 1940 winning the first Academy Award for an African-American. I like the thought behind this look but it was not good.
The moment Sandra Bullock walked on to the red carpet in her Fall 2010 Marchesa gown I was like the best accesory for this look would be an Oscar and she got it. Sandy looked amazing just did not like the makeup it was a little much.
I'm split on weather I love or hate Sarah Jessica Parkers look. I love the Spring 2010 Chanel Haute Couture gown, but I hate the hair and makeup. I think I love this more than hate, but it a pretty fine line.
Everyone but me seemed to hate Tina Fey's Golden Globes Zac Posen dress, and were hoping that she would redeem herself here. Well since I didn't think that she was horrible at the Golden Globes she didn't blow me out of the water as much as everyone else wearing this Michael Kors Pre-Fall 2010 gown
This gown was my second choice for worst dressed. Vera Farmiga let this Marchesa Fall 2010 gown wear her and the hair and make up were equally as horrible.
Zoe Saldana always blows me away on the red carpet so I must give her wearing this stunning Spring 2010 Givenchy Couture gown Best dressed. I love everything about this look and wouldn't change anything about it.

Who should be nominated for Best Dressed?

Oscars Best Moments

With the most fabulous night in film being tonight I decided to have a look back at my favorite Oscar looks from years past starting with...

Keira Knightly in Vera Wang at the 2006 Oscars ceremony. The gown was custom made for her, and she topped the look off with vintage Bulgari jewels.

Anne Hathaway wearing Fall 2008 Marchesa to the 2008 Academy Awards ceremony. Georgina Chapman, one of the designers for Marchesa, said "Anne picked the dress by herself, no stylist or changes later." Georgina personally went to Anne's LA home on the day of the Oscars to bring her the gown and her Harry Winston jewels.

Hilary Swank brought old Hollywood glamour to the 2005 Academy Awards red carpet wearing Guy Laroche.

For the year Julia Roberts won her Oscar for her work in Erin Brockovitch in 2001, she looked stunning wearing a Vintage Valentino gown.

Angelina Jolie also brought old Hollywood glamour wearing a custom Marc Bouwer gown to the 2004 Oscar red carpet.

Penelope Cruz looked stunning wearing this Atelier Vesrace gown at the 2008 Oscars. She topped her look with a Swarovksi clutch and Chopard diamonds.

Best Dressed of the Week of February 28th

Red carpet style icon Camilla Belle had a very busy week of dressing up for multiple events. She started the week by hosting a party for Marchesa, I have to say Marchesa + Camilla Belle = AMAZING. Here she is the best dressed of the week in Fall 2010 Marchesa.

And Camilla ended her week wearing Valentino Pre-Fall 2010 to the Artists for Peace and Justice Pre-Oscar Gala. Camilla had an AMAZING week.

Olivia Wilde attended the 2010 Independent Spirit Awards in this stunning Ralph Lauren Fall 2010 gown. Olivia glowed in this gown, it was the perfect place for it because this gown is very casual and the Indy Spirit Awards is a very casual event.

Zoe Saldana never lets me down on the red carpet, here she is wearing Spring 2010 Valentino to the 3rd Annual Essence Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon. She paired her cocktail dress with extremely casual Christian Louboutin booties, and she is the only person in the world I could see being able to pull this off.

OK first off this is a dress that Harpers Bazaar recomended for women in their 50s and they are wrong because Ginnifer Goodwin rocks this Spring 2010 Christian Dior dress at "The Stylist Project" Exhibition opening. Ginnifer look AMAZING.

I will probably not post anything tomorrow but who knows seeing it is Oscar Sunday?

Oscar Red Carpet Predictions: Best Actress Nominees

I want to see Carey Mulligan in an American designer for once.

This J. Mendel Pre-Fall 2010 gown is totaly Carys taste and I need to see her in it.

Emily Blunt usually wears very embellished pieces for the red carpet.

So I have chosens this vintage James Galanos gown from Decades Vintage (a fav store of Rachel Zoe), she would absolutely glow in this gown.

I feel bad for Gabourey Sidibe because not many designers do gowns for bigger women.

I think that this Monique Lhuillier gown would look stunning on her and do hope she wears it

Helen Mirren doesn't useually wear big desginers on the red carpet.

I have choosen this Fall 1950 vintage Balenciaga that is in the Costume Institutes archive. This gown needs to be worn by a person with amazing poise and posture, and Helen has all of the requirements.

Meryl Streep always wears black on the Oscars red carpet so I wanted to put her in some color.

So I chose this Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2010 gown for her, it is age appropriate and elegant. Meryl I doubt you read my nlog but if you do PLEASE wear this to the Oscars.

Sandra Bullock is going to be out of place at the Oscars because she is not a Glam Girl. Sandra would probably wear jeans and a t-shirt rather than put on a fabulous gown, and its a shame.

This Elie Saab Fall 2009 Couture gown would look stunning on her, and as she is my choice to win the Best Actress award, she should look the part and I think the white would look pretty against her skin.

Oscar Red Carpet Predictions: Best Supporting Actress Nominees

Anna Kendrick is elegant yet needs to dress her age, she either dresses to old or to young

So I have chosen this Alberta Ferretti Fall 2010 gown for her to wear. It is elegant yet youthful and I can see Anna wearing this and rocking it.

I'm not a huge fan of Maggie Gyllenhaal's style but

I think this Yves St Laurent Pre-Fall 2010 gown will look stunning on her

Monique is my choice for Best Supporting Actress and I do hope that she wins.

She should wear this stunning Valentino Pre-Fall 2010 gown, because she would look stunning wearing it and will carry herself with the up-most pride.

Penelope Cruz, she always gives us stunning on the red carpet.

I choose this blue & white ballgown from Carolina Herreras Pre-Fall 2010 line. Carolina Herrera is a hard designer to wear on the red carpet because she is very selective of who can wear her pieces that aren't purchased, so PLEASE Carolina lend Penelope this gown.

Vera has had many misses on the red carpet.

This dress is what I have chosen for her, not sure if it would actually look amazing on her but I think it is the best option.

Oscar Red Carpet Predictions: Marion Cottilard

Academy Award winning singer actress Marion Cottilard is sure to walk the red carpet at the Oscars on Sunday, because her song "Take It All" from NINE is nominated.

I want Marion to wear this Spring 2010 Christian Dior Couture gown. Marion is the face of Lady Dior the classic Dior handbags and she should wear Dior's designs on the red carpet and I think that this dress has the drama needed for the Oscars.

And if Marion is to preform her song I have this Jean Paul Gaultier Pre-Fall 2010 dress for her to wear. This dress is sexy and sultry but sophisticated and would be perfect to encompass the feeling of the song and of the character that Marion plays.

Red Carpet Predictions: Diane Kruger & Jullianne Moore

Julianne Moore is probably going to be attending the Oscars. She has been wearing a lot of Lanvin and Balenciaga, so I choose this Armani Prive Spring 2010 collection. The white color would look amazing on her with her pale skin and red hair. She would no doubt pair the gown with some amazing jewels from Bulgari, seeing she is the face of the company right now.

Diane Kruger has an eclectic style and I never know what she is going to on the red carpet but I have chosen this Fall 2009 Atelier Versace gown for her because it is different and not the normal piece to see on the red carpet and she is one of the few people who could.
